Our ceremony will be held at Zhailau Country Club in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Thursday, May 27, 2027. The celebration (Kazakh Toi) will take place at Elegant Emirates in Shymkent, Kazakhstan on Saturday, May 29, 2027.

Our wedding is an opportunity to celebrate with loved ones while honoring both American and Kazakh traditions. We chose to hold our ceremony in Almaty because it is an international city that offers guests a beautiful introduction to Kazakhstan, while our celebration in Shymkent will allow everyone to experience Kazakh wedding traditions and culture. We are excited to share both places with our family and friends.

We would be honored to celebrate with you at both events, but we understand that travel schedules may vary. Guests are welcome to attend one or both celebrations.

The two cities are about a 1.5-hour flight apart, with frequent daily connections. We'll recommend flights and can help coordinate group transfers once we have a sense of numbers.

We are currently finalizing transportation plans and will share details as the wedding week approaches.

Late May in Kazakhstan typically brings mild temperatures and sunny weather. Almaty tends to be cooler in the evenings, while Shymkent is generally warmer. We recommend bringing layers.

Yes! Both celebrations will include English-speaking guests, and we will do our best to ensure everyone feels welcome and included.
